Who we are
Corner Team AI is a small team in Calgary, Alberta. We make free Corner Score Audits for owner-run businesses and help them put AI to work. This policy covers cornerteam.ai, our audit pages, our emails and our calls. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Corner Team AI.
We follow Canada’s federal privacy law for businesses, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). In plain words, we tell you why we collect your information and ask for your consent. We use it only for that reason and keep it safe. You can see it and ask us to fix it.
What we collect
When you ask for an audit
Our short forms ask for your email and your company website. Our contact form also asks for your name, phone number, company, business type and yearly revenue, plus an optional message and how you heard about us. With each form we save the page you sent it from and the type of browser you used.
If you tick the speed test box
We send one test enquiry to your business through your website and time how fast your team replies. The result goes in your audit. The box is never ticked for you, and we only run the test if you tick it.
To build your audit
We look at public information about your business, like your website, your Google business profile and reviews, search results, ads and social media pages. We look at three local competitors the same way.
When you email us
Feedback and referrals from our audit pages come to us as email at hello@cornerteam.ai. We get your email address, what you write, and any details you share about a person you refer.
When we record calls
We ask before we start recording, and you can say no. If you agree, we keep the recording and a written transcript. We use AI to review the call so we can explain audits better and train our team.
When you visit the site
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies. When a form is sent, it records which form and which page, never what you typed. Your colour and light or dark theme choice is saved in your own browser and never sent to us. Our sample audit pages load a font from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when you open one.
How we use it
- To prepare your audit and send it to you.
- To reply to you and set up your call.
- To run the speed test, only if you asked for it.
- To improve how we explain audits and to train our team, using recorded calls only when you agreed.
We don’t sell personal information today. If that ever changes, we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent first.
Who helps us
These companies process information for us. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job.
- Vercel hosts this website and counts visits without cookies.
- Supabase stores what you send through our forms. Our database is in Canada.
- Hostinger hosts the server where we build audits and see new requests.
- Discord is our team’s private chat, where we get a note about each new request.
- Forward Email delivers email sent to hello@cornerteam.ai.
- Anthropic (Claude) and OpenRouter are the AI services we use to build and check audits and, when we record calls, to review them.
- DataForSEO supplies public search data about your business and your competitors.
- Google Fonts serves the font on our sample audit pages.
- Zoom runs and records our calls, and AssemblyAI turns recordings into text, when we record calls.
Apart from our database in Canada, these companies may process and store information in the United States. Information held there can be accessed by the courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of that country.
How long we keep it
- Form details and audit records. We keep these for 2 years after our last contact with you.
- Call recordings and transcripts. We keep these for 12 months.
When we no longer need your information, we delete it.
How we keep it safe
Our website can add a new request to our database but can never read, change or delete one. Only our team can read requests. We share information with the companies above only so they can do their part.
Your choices
- Ask to see the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that’s wrong.
- Withdraw your consent at any time. For example, ask us to stop recording, delete a recording or skip the speed test. Without some details we may not be able to finish your audit.

If you’re not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
